Is it just me or do the Montale bottles never seem full ? I bought a 50ml bottle of Full Incense and a 100ml bottle of Aoud Lime. Both of them feel like they're only half full. Obviously you can't see because the bottles aren't clear. Why don't they use a smaller bottle if they're not going to fill it ? They were purchased from reliable vendors (Perfume Shoppe & FragrenceNet).

I've had my doubts too, but have never checked them to date. Alcohol being less dense than water will weigh less, but Montale somehow appear even lighter than other parfums.

$V = \pi r^{2} \cdot h = G \cdot h$

approx.

V [ml] = 100 ml

r [cm] = 2 cm

-> ~ 8 cm (of ~11 cm) filling level.  Eh voilà!

Ummmm.......  OK ? I'll assume this somehow accounts for the volume levels.

My full bottle of Aoud Lime with the lock/pin, without the box weighs

approximately 115 grams.

Hope this helps,

Regards.

Montale bottles are never filled to the top.  I've bought numerous ones from authorized retailers, (Min, Luckyscent, etc.) and not a single one is ever filled.  I even poured it out to measure the juice and it came out to 100 ml.

Because the bottles are aluminum and lightweight, my guess is your mind is playing tricks on you. If you want to put your mind at ease, you can always unscrew the cap and look inside.

Now that's what I call evidence.

Volume of a cylinder is equal to pi times the radius squared times height.  If the radius is approximately 2cm, and the volume is 100ml, the cylinder will fill to approximately 8cm.  He's saying you have your 100ml as advertised.

I measure the amounts in both of my 100ml bottle with added concentration and they had 120ml each. Still felt half full in relation to a grass bottle.

OK this is good to hear, I just received my first Montale 2 days ago and my first impression was that the bottle didn't feel like it contained 100ml of juice.

Indeed it doesn't, it's rumoured that it contains 120 ml.

If I'm not mistaken that's if it's store bought with the added concentration.
