Fighting the urge to wear Giorgio for Men every day for the rest of my life ()

Base notes: Amber, Cedar, Cistus oil, Leather, Moss, Patchouli, Sandal, Vanilla
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

Probably the longest lasting fragrance I have ever worn. And one of the best smelling ones too, although the first 5 minutes is almost too hard to handle.
Ajmal Aqhawan. Yeowsah!

I can still smell 3 Diptyque frags that I sprayed on my skin once... days ago. What the HECK.
Besides them, I've got Colonel Conk's Amber aftershave on my left hand and his Bay Rum aftershave on my right. The Bay Rum smells excellent! I'm fairly certain I'll buy up a dozen or so glycerin shaving soaps as soon as possible.
My limited 'drobe: Boss In Motion, Armani Code, Concentre d'Orange Verte, Paul Smith Story.
Amouage Relfection man or Creed Original Santal? Not sure.
MontaleMusk to Musk
Acqua di Parma Colonia
Armani Eau pour Homme
Top Notes: Lemon, Mandarin, Basil, Bergamot, Green Orange
Middle Notes: Lavender, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Lily, Jasmine, Carnation, Rose
Base Notes: Oakmoss, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedar, Patchouli, Musk
A spicy-floral chypre with eau-de-cologne overtones. Quite an old-school scent for today's taste, I suppose, but still worth the occasional walk in the park. Love that woody-oriental drydown weighted with the chypré oakmoss-patchouli accord. I like this for daytime business wear in mild weather. I would wear it any other time I felt moved to, though; I find it's quite versatile. This is a scent I would call well-tailored, both in the sense that it's well constructed and that it goes well with a coat and tie.

Taking my chem final...which I will no doubt fail. So I'm wearing Terre d'Hermes to make me feel better and brighten my day.
And come on! 15 posts and no females? Oh wait, they have lives/sensibility and have better things to do at this time of day....such as sleep.

Cerruti "Pour Homme"

I'm wearing a combination of Kenzo Amour body lotion and Chergui. One or the other, fine, but together.......disaster. I smell like a nursery of nursing babies. Vile. Can't wait for another attempt to wash this combo away.
What a waste of Chergui.
Serendipitous (care of Taolady thanks!) Yuuuum! Looks like another lemming....

My blind-buy bottle just arrived (well, sometimes you just have to put that bid on) fortunately, I love it.
Have a good day y'all!

I'm streamlining my collection http://community.basenotes.net/showt...29#post1219729
It`s got colder so today I wear RL Polo Black
My current Fall-Winter rotation: Baldessarini EdC - Canali Men - Dior Homme Sport - Gucci PH I - Guerlain Homme - Issey Miyake L`Eau D`Issey PH Intense - Lalique Encre Noir - Loewe Solo - Terre d`Hermes - YSL Rive Gauche PH
Habit Rouge (Guerlain)
Caron Pour un Homme
Fresh - Lemon Sugar. Had expected this one too be sweeter; I can just smell the lemon...
Inspired by the revived Djedi thread on "our" side, I am wearing Vero Kern's
from a sample (thanks Gerald!) which I had sniffed once and put aside for testing.
Onda is strikingly similar to Djedi...however, whilst I have a difficult relationship with Djedi, Onda is speaking to my heart: it is warmer, smoother, somehow kinder than her austere brother.
I'll stop wearing black when they make something darker

Bond No. 9 Central Park
its really sunny and hot here today so I am marinating in tubereuse criminelle - its perfect for the weather. My husband says 'at least it will keep the flies away'.....is that a compliment?
I adore this stuff!
Homme de Grès
Creed Himalaya again.
PVC and Leather. A Chain and a feather
Still enjoying the memory of last night's field trip with ComDiva. One must move on and today I am in my first full wearing of:
I like it but I'm surprised I'm not loving it as its full of notes that i like they're just not coming together to form the symphony I expected. Instead its more like a well-crafted pop song or maybe its just a clever little throw-away ditty like "Log". Y'know "it's better than bad, it's good!"
I know the R & S fans are smiling.
More writing on fragrance by me to be found at http://www.cafleurebon.com/
Sun is shining, so a spritz of CdG's Lemon will do.
After that, Cereus no.7 when I go to work.
have a great day y'all
Last night I wore Cherugi to the Elvis Costello concert ( which was fabulous of course) ,so I think I need to wear it again today. I have to sit in a meeting reviewing policies and procedures all day so at least I can entertain myself by smelling my wrist!
Day Four in the Week of Roses - (thanx Wolfie for the samples) in
"Rose Kashmirie was developed by perfumer François Robertfor Les Parfums de Rosine, and notes include rose, saffron, green notes and musk.together with red peony, myrrh, vanilla, cypriol, sandalwood, benzoin, ambrette and khus vetiver"....but it sure smells like honey on me!!
Gotta give this one a few more hours to develop I think - but I love the lush orientalism of it it coming out of the bottle.....

Creed Green Irish Tweed
It's a lovely hot day today so I'm wearing a perfume to match - the beautiful Coco Mademoiselle
I imagine I will have to replace this before too long, I seem to be using it an awful lot...

And now I'm having sprayer's remorse, a bit. It's great stuff but I'm realizing that I would rather be in something more arid for the hot heat of this hottening spring day.
Hi, I'm a female, may I join you? :-)
I'm testing Pucci Vivara for the second morning in a row (2007 version). I love it.
Guerlain Cologne No. 68
I need a bottle of this! Light summer floral ~ almost along the lines of the smooth VIW.
Last evening, Somerville Metro Man and I spent a glorious evening at Barneys, sniffing and chatting with Roberto, one of their superlative SAs. Today I am wearing (and owning) Les Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle L'eau d'Hiver thanks entirely to SMM. (Need more languages to thank him enough...)
Notes: Bergamot, angelica, iris, honey, hawthorn, jasmine, heliotrope, white musc. Wow.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for.
